Scarring may also result after if the acne is rubbed hard or pricked. Virus that causes cold sores may remain in dormant state for the longest period of time and can recur once triggered. They may seem similar in some ways but they are totally different from each other. The reasons of their occurrence and recurrence, the way to cure and treat them, and their outbreaks are among the difference between cold sore and acne.
Although cold sores and acne are different and similar in some ways, you still have to take care of your skin. You have to give it sufficient nutrition and protection from any infection. Eating right foods, sleeping well, and avoiding direct sunlight and chemicals may be helpful for the health and strong resistance of your skin.
